DESCRIPTION:Seminar LNCMI \n Revaz Ramazashvili \,LPT \nSeminar LNCMI\, 4/06/2026\, 14H\,  Lieu : LNCMI\,Toulouse \nAbstract\nWe predict electric-dipole spin resonance (EDSR) in altermagnetic conductors: in a magnetic field H\, perpendicular to the magnetization\naxis\, an AC electric field will induce spin resonance transitions that\, in sufficiently clean samples\, shall be clearly visible on the ohmic\nbackground. The EDSR signal shall have a lower threshold frequency ω_ = 2H and a 1/√(ω-ω_) divergence above this threshold. \nDisorder cuts off this divergence; the resulting height of the threshold resonance peak shall scale as √(Hτ)\, with τ the relaxation time. \nI also hope to discuss how EDSR can serve as a diagnostic of altermagnetic order in conducting materials and as a means to distinguish it from more familiar\,\nhigher-symmetry forms of Néel order. \nLien Zoom : https://univ-grenoble-alpes-fr.zoom.us/j/94228207316?pwd=khTdznxeFy1ZUYkYftQ0QSox6Fz3iK.1
