DESCRIPTION:Société Française de Physique (SFP) and the Institut de Mathématiques de Toulouse (IMT) are pleased to co-organize a joint colloquium on Critical phenomena and the Ising model\, by Hugo Duminil-Copin (Fields Medalist 2022). This will not be a technical seminar\, but rather a general presentation aimed at all interested researchers who have already heard of the Ising model. \nIt will take place on the UPS campus on March 15 2024\, from 1:00pm to 2:00pm\, followed by a coffee break with time for discussions.
