Ces mat\u00e9riaux sont soumis \u00e0 d\u2019intenses conditions de temp\u00e9rature (forts gradients) et d\u2019irradiation.<br \/>\nAu sein du laboratoire de mod\u00e9lisation du comportement du combustible (LM2C, D\u00e9partement d\u2019Etude des Combustibles, CEA Cadarache), nous appliquons diverses m\u00e9thodes de simulations, allant de la th\u00e9orie de la fonctionnelle de la densit\u00e9 \u00e0 la dynamique des dislocations et la dynamique d\u2019amas, afin d\u2019am\u00e9liorer notre compr\u00e9hension des m\u00e9canismes fondamentaux se produisant au sein de ces mat\u00e9riaux.<br \/>\nApr\u00e8s avoir effectu\u00e9 une br\u00e8ve pr\u00e9sentation des th\u00e8mes trait\u00e9s au sein de notre groupe de recherche, je d\u00e9taillerai deux exemples concrets issus de travaux en cours, et pour lesquels les calculs \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9chelle des atomes permettent d\u2019am\u00e9liorer notre compr\u00e9hension et nos connaissances \u00e0 propos des combustibles nucl\u00e9aires. Ces th\u00e8mes sont li\u00e9s \u00e0 la simulation de la chaleur sp\u00e9cifique de combustibles solides, ainsi qu\u2019\u00e0 la pr\u00e9vention et mitigation des risques associ\u00e9s aux sc\u00e9narios d\u2019accidents.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<div class=\"leaflet-map WPLeafletMap\" style=\"height:300px;
