Soci\u00e9t\u00e9 Fran\u00e7aise de Physique (SFP) and the Institut de Math\u00e9matiques de Toulouse (IMT) are pleased to co-organize a joint colloquium on Critical phenomena and the Ising model, by Hugo Duminil-Copin<\/strong><\/span> (Fields Medalist 2022<\/strong>). This will not be a technical seminar, but rather a general presentation aimed at all interested researchers who have already heard of the Ising model.<\/p>\n

It will take place on the UPS campus on March 15 2024, from 1:00pm to 2:00pm, followed by a coffee break with time for discussions.
