Cependant, plusieurs questions en suspens sugg\u00e8rent que le Mod\u00e8le Standard ne constitue pas une description compl\u00e8te de la nature, laissant entrevoir une physique au-del\u00e0 de ce cadre. Le boson de Higgs observ\u00e9 est-il r\u00e9ellement celui pr\u00e9dit par le Mod\u00e8le Standard, un champ qui existe partout dans l\u2019univers et conf\u00e8re une masse aux particules \u00e9l\u00e9mentaires par le biais de ses interactions ? Le champ de Higgs pourrait-il fournir des indices sur des myst\u00e8res plus profonds, tels que la nature de la mati\u00e8re noire, le d\u00e9s\u00e9quilibre entre mati\u00e8re et antimati\u00e8re, ou encore la stabilit\u00e9 de l\u2019univers ?<br \/>\nUne fa\u00e7on d\u2019explorer ces questions est d\u2019examiner la forme du potentiel de Higgs, qui peut \u00eatre sond\u00e9e par la mesure de l&rsquo;auto-couplage du boson de Higgs.
