Dans ce contexte, la simulation num\u00e9rique apporte une contribution pr\u00e9cieuse en permettant de r\u00e9aliser des scenarios bien contr\u00f4l\u00e9s, et en mettant \u00e0 l&rsquo;\u00e9preuve les mod\u00e8les issus de notre compr\u00e9hension du fonctionnement des instruments de musique. Cet expos\u00e9 s&rsquo;int\u00e9resse au piano, et plus pr\u00e9cis\u00e9ment \u00e0 la question du toucher pianistique. Les fabricants apportent en effet un soin tout particulier \u00e0 la r\u00e9alisation de la m\u00e9canique mettant en relation le musicien avec le marteau qui ensuite frappe les cordes, et les musiciens d\u00e9veloppent une technique tr\u00e8s precise dans leur fa\u00e7on d&rsquo;enfoncer les touches, pour contr\u00f4ler cette m\u00e9canique. Cependant, les effets r\u00e9els de cette trajectoire sur le son du piano font l&rsquo;objet d&rsquo;une controverse.
