Platforms
The nano-RX platform is a tool for characterizing nanomaterials using X-ray diffraction and scattering, aimed at a broad scientific community including physicists, chemists and materials scientists, as well as a large number of industrialists. Initiated in 2013, the project is being led by 3 laboratories in Toulouse (CEMES, CIRIMAT and LPCNO), whose ambition is to develop and make available this multi-site characterization platform featuring cutting-edge techniques, as well as the staff and skills required to exploit the results.
The instrumentation consists of 7 X-ray scattering and diffraction instruments. They enable analysis of powders, polycrystalline bulk samples, thin films, nanoparticles or amorphous materials, under controlled atmospheres and temperatures.
