Update of the document* :
June 2018

* This concerns the seminar room on the 3rd floor

FeRMI has acquired a new video conferencing system: AVER EVC 150
This system is connected to the television set. The camera can be oriented. It is advisable to register in advance and to contact the IT staff to test the connection and to connect the various elements which are in the locked cupboard.
Reservations for the room should be made with Patricia Bordais : gestionnaire[at]irsamc.ups-tlse.fr

https: //renavisio.renater.fr/
The system can be connected in H323 to renater visio. You can be a videoconference host or a client.
It is advisable to register a conference on the renavisio website in advance to take advantage of a scopia bridge rather than the codian bridge (which is more complicated to implement on clients).

FOR INFORMATION: The procedure to follow (this version is a first draft).
* Turn on the TV set on the right side..
* Turn on the amplifier (audio pole) (on off)
The volume of the room can be adjusted via the knob on the mixer.
* connect the microphone to the wire (blue plug)
* The AVER EVC 150 system is switched on with the remote control.
The system is switched on by default on the “Dial” menu.
* Enter the conference settings :
By default, we are in H323 mode, we enter the keyboard for example 20091@mgmt.visio.renater.fr
go to “call”, validate.
Then select near/far on the remote control to gently enter the 4-digit code. Confirm by pressing # on the remote control. (you cannot use the keyboard here)
* In principle, we enter into communication.
If you want to change the zoom of the camera or the presentation of the windows, always use the near/far button. You can use the remote control to move to the place where there is a small red circle
